Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. GGyst is a business tool for adults doing paid work. If you are using it on behalf of a company, you are confirming you have authority to accept these terms for it.

• Give us accurate information, and keep your email address current.
• Keep your password and devices secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us promptly at chad@ggyst.com if you think someone else has access. You can also revoke every session from Settings.
• One person per account. Don’t share logins.

Everything you put into GGyst — clients, gigs, invoices, notes, files — belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us only the narrow permission needed to operate the service: to store your content, process it, display it back to you, and send it where you direct (such as emailing an invoice to a client).

You can export all of it as JSON, or delete it, at any time from Settings.

We encrypt those fields and restrict access to them, but we cannot know whether you had permission to collect them. That part is on you.

Don’t use GGyst to:

• Break the law, or help anyone else do so.
• Send invoices you know to be fraudulent, or impersonate another business or person.
• Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringes someone else’s rights.
• Attack, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, or bypass its rate limits, authentication, or tenant isolation.
• Resell GGyst or access it through an unauthorized automated client.

Security research is welcome if it is responsible. Email us before probing anything, don’t touch other people’s data, and give us a chance to fix what you find.

GGyst is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans, we will show the price and terms clearly before you are charged, and existing accounts will not be switched to a paid plan without your explicit agreement.

We work to keep GGyst running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may add, change, or remove features, and occasionally take the service down for maintenance. If we plan to discontinue GGyst or remove something you rely on, we will give you reasonable notice and time to export your data.

Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. The export in Settings exists for exactly that.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings; it takes effect immediately and removes your data. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is being used to harm others, or is required to be closed by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export.

GGyst is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available, or that it will meet your requirements.

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GGyst will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost revenue, or lost or corrupted data, arising out of your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to GGyst is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold GGyst harmless from claims and costs arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms — including claims brought by a client or a family whose information you stored without permission.

GGyst.com LLC is organized under the laws of California. These terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the courts located there, and both of us consent to that jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will update the date above and notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using GGyst afterward, the new terms apply. If you don’t agree with them, delete your account.
